Like Joanne, I am unable to comprehend where the straight and T pins attach. Would you please further elaborate or show where the pins go, and if there is a specific type of ornament needed? This is a beautiful idea!

      Jaime,
The top of each ornament typically has a metal loop with a small silver thread through it. We simply placed the T pin through the metal loop at the top of the ornament and pinned it onto the board. The T on the pin is typically larger than the metal loop which is why it stays tacked to the board. Does that make sense?

Love this when I spotted it in your holiday catalog! When I saw this post today I thought, “Great! This will show me how to do this!” To my surprise- no ideas or suggestions as to HOW to attach ornaments to the bulletin board! I consider myself quite a crafty person, but can’t think of an easy way to attach the ornaments and not see the hooks or destroy the burlap backing. My best idea is to actually hot glue unbreakable ornaments to burlap I put in an inexpensive frame – certainly too expensive a project to do with your beautiful but pricey burlap bulletin board just for holiday use. Can you please share how you did this?

      Joanne,
I’m so sorry you didn’t find what you were looking for! We didn’t plan to do a How To post because it was so simple. We simply hung the ornaments on the bulletin board using straight pins and T-pins and the small bits of string already attached to the ornaments (the silver kind that comes with them). First, we did the outline of the tree in one size ornament. Then, we filled in that outline with a mix of sizes and colors. That’s all!
I hope that helps and sorry again if we disappointed you!
      Caroline
