Paint Colors from our October-December 2016 Catalog

Paint colors from the Ballard Designs Holiday 2016 catalog

Because we shoot in real homes, we are not always at liberty to paint the walls. In those cases, we have chosen paint colors that best match the wall color in the photo. Please be aware that color may vary due to various light conditions, finish and other factors.  Therefore, it’s always a great idea to test a paint sample on your wall first. We use Benjamin Moore paint, but most paint stores can match any color.

What is the name of the color on pages 66-67 of the catalog? I’m not sure which month, but it is a very dark teal-ish color. Thanks!

Do you know where the painting is from in the Acadia White room? I’m absolutely in love with him.

Love…Love…Love the Topaz! I’ve shown it to my husband several times this week and he loves it too. It looks a bit darker on here than in the catalog…but expected. We have an amazing shade of yellow in our home the I am thinking it would complement well. I love your ideas!! 🙂

What is the paint color on page 103 of the November 2016 Christmas catalog. It is a bedroom – sort of a “pumpkin” color. It had the Louis bed and the Olivia Mirrored collection on the wall (4 mirrors). Thank you.

    Hi,

I realize you prefaced the article with a statement indicating that not all paint used in the catalog is the actual color listed, but rather a close match. I’m building a house and have been trying dozens of pale blue paints on the wall of my dining room but none look right. They all appear cheezy bright like a toddler boy blue. On page 95 of your catalog this month, there’s a beautiful blue paint that looks a lot like Suzanne Kasler’s signature color “Limoges Blue,” which I’ve miserably failed to match. You reference another color in that picture called “Watercolor Blue.” Is that wall actually painted in Watercolor Blue or is that merely a suggested color? This is exactly the look I’m going for!

      Sady,
This is actually a suggested color, matched to the photograph. It isn’t the actual wall color used in the room. Sorry!
