Whew, what a year 2016 has been! Before we officially ring in 2017, we thought it only fitting to look back through some of our best posts here on How to Decorate.
This season is about giving thanks and celebrating the people who matter most. Without our customers we would not have grown into the brand we are today. Thank you for welcoming Ballard into your homes. – Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours!
We were so excited to introduce our Moscow Mule and Mint Julep Shot glasses this holiday season, but what good are these adorable shot glasses if you don’t have recipes to go with them?
At Ballard Designs, we’re big believers that everyone should entertain, no matter how big or small your home is and no matter how many projects you’ve marked off your decorating To Do list. Entertaining isn’t about perfection, it’s about hospitality! If you have a studio apartment or a small home, consider hosting a holiday gathering picnic-style around your coffee table. Here’s how we did it.
The weeks and months leading up to the New Year move at warp speed, which is why it’s important to step back and enjoy the moments you get to spend with family during the fall. Of course Thanksgiving is one of those times of year we get to sit down together and enjoy each others’ company, give thanks, and enjoy a meal together. For a big gathering like this, we like to set a table that feels special and festive. We pulled together some of our favorite pieces, both new and old, and are sharing how to get the look for yourself!
In three days, it’s officially Fall which means the start of the entertaining season. While that may give of you a chill, we love this time of year when we get to spend time with friends and family in our homes that we’ve spent all year working on. So it should come as no surprise that we love dreaming up new tabletop looks to celebrate the season! Inspired by the colors and textures of fall, we pulled together this dining table featuring our Wood Bark Chargers and Bunny Williams’ Campbell House Dinnerware.
