Hold onto your earbuds because our guest today is none other than our own design partner, author, acclaimed interior designer, and hostess extraordinaire Bunny Williams! We traveled to Bunny’s office in New York to record this special episode in her office, and she definitely did not disappoint. Bunny shares some incredible decorating tips and stories, including how she furnished her first apartment and decorating her home in the Dominican Republic. We talk about her new outdoor furniture collection La Colina, and of course she answers your decorating questions!
Ever since her mix-and-matched dinnerware collection debuted in 2014, we’ve regarded Bunny Williams as our own entertaining expert, so we’re delighted to take that entertaining prowess to the outdoor spaces. This Spring, we’re introducing her first outdoor furniture collection named after her home in the Dominican Republic. Of course, we had to sit down with Bunny herself to talk about what inspired all the new pieces and how she envisions people using her fanciful outdoor pieces.
In her newest book, celebrated interior designer Bunny Williams gives us a tour of her island home in the Dominican Republic. Introduced to the tropical paradise by close friend and renowned designer, Oscar de la Renta, Bunny and her husband, antiques collector and dealer John Rosselli, instantly fell in love with the island and its people. After many visits, they decided to custom design and build their own home in Punta Cana. They named it La Colina.
Anyone who knows designer Bunny Williams knows she’s a consummate and gracious entertainer. She knows all the key ingredients to ensuring her guests have a good time. Lucky for us, she’s sharing her lifelong love for thoughtful details and timeless style with us. This holiday, she’s adding to her fabulously unique collections of decorative accessories and tabletop, plus she’s introducing a limited edition dining collection, designed especially for you and Ballard Designs. We spoke to Bunny about her new holiday collection and what she most looks forward to during the holidays.
We love Bunny Williams’ collected style, so we’re always looking for ways to bring that perfectly layered look into our homes.
