Spring is a magical time when nature starts to bloom with color, so it’s no surprise that for Spring 2017, we’re letting color wake up our neutral rooms. We took the lead from our Opulence Art which is grounded in charcoal gray and upholstered a pair of our new Kathryn Sofas in a charcoal velvet. Then, we let the art and accessories take center stage by using bold oranges and yellows.

In our minds, there’s only one cure for the winter blues, and that’s a healthy dose of color around your home. We’re especially loving pink accents, vibrant tropical greens, and our forever favorite hue, blue. A fresh color palette will bring new life to your space and give you hope that warmer weather is around the corner. Here are our favorite ways to bring small accents of color into your home:
Picking out the right furniture pieces, fabrics, and rugs is only half the challenge of decorating your home. The second half, and sometimes even the most difficult part, is ‘styling’ your room. We think of ‘styling’ as a way to display the decorative objects that you’ve collected and love. It’s that final touch that takes your furniture pieces from simply something functional to something functional and beautiful. For all of us, the decorating objects we use to style our space may be different, but there are some universal strategies that will make styling your home easier.
We scoured our archives, surveyed our design teams, and questioned our stylists to break down all the steps and best tips for you.
We love Bunny Williams’ collected style, so we’re always looking for ways to bring that perfectly layered look into our homes. Her new Nailhead Folding Screen makes it easy to add art, pattern, and purpose to an empty corner or space. We’re showing you four ways we’ve used this upholstered screen that comes in more than 200 colors!
It’s our philosophy that you should never buy a piece of furniture that just solves one problem. If you buy versatile pieces that can move around your home with ease and that serve multiple functions, you’ll have pieces that stand the test of time. Because of this, we’re always designing pieces with clever, hardworking details — like our Etta Cachepot. It’s not just a plant stand, it can be a champagne bucket when you’re entertaining and a side table too!
