It’s very nicely made, sturdy and beautifully styled.
I don’t know what to do with this corner without spending a lot of money on a new chair etc. The chair we have is too small for the space, and the slip cover is awful. I would like an idea for how to fill the corner using the chair I have, with a new slipcover, if needed, and the right accessories.
Believe it or not, you are on the right path. The easiest fix is to add height to the corner with wall décor. We think the Suzanne Kasler Set of 3 Sunburst Mirrors would look great in this space. You can hang them in a collage or in a vertical line on the same wall as the cabinet. Lose the bulky blanket and go with a smaller throw pillow in a color that complements your Tuscan-inspired decor, such as sage, rust or gold. Station a Garden Seat in white to the right of the chair and stack three books on top. And if you happen to have a book on Tuscany, well, that would be perfect!
Should you decide to change the slipcover, keep in mind that you do need to choose a color that pops that won’t blend into the wall or be too matchy-matchy with the cherry cabinet. You also want to stick to the Tuscan palette, as discussed above. For inspiration, look at our Document Ink or Microfiber Sage fabrics.
I waited months for these chairs for our playroom, but it was worth the wait! The haviland grey fabric is amazing. The texture is beautiful – neutral and fun all at the same time. The photos do not do the fabric justice. The size of the chairs is perfect… not too big, not too small.
I just purchased the spa blue rug in 8′ square. I ordered the rug on a Thursday and was so surprised when it was delivered following Tuesday! The color is perfect and just what I was looking for. One corner is a bit ragged where the seams meet but I’ll put that corner under the sofa so it won’t be visible. Very excited about my new living room rug!
We moved into a new home 6 months ago; decorating our home is a work in progress. We purchased these panels in spa for our living room and in chocolate brown for our dining room. We thought that hanging the same panels in both rooms would tie them together, and we could not be happier with how it turned out. The panels are as gorgeous as everyone else says. They’re substantial in material, hang beautifully with almost no help and don’t even require ironing given the linen blend. We’re in love with them – they soften the room and look modern and fresh as well.
I ordered the small gray provost sign and hung it above the television that is about 40-42″. I love it! My only complaint is that I wish they had a medium size instead of just a small or huge. Besides that, it is well made and unique.
I recently replaced my counter stools with these custom stools from Ballards…they are so comfortable & I really like how they swivel. The nail heads make a stunning impression.
