About Jad Driggers

Jad Driggers is the chef, husband and Mr. Mom behind New South Food Company. New South started as a catering and personal chef business but has quickly gained a following in the food blogging community. He specializes in gourmet southern dishes with a New South twist - think country French meets the South. Jad graduated from Johnson & Wales University in 1998 and started his professional culinary career in Charleston, SC. While in Charleston, he worked at several award-winning restaurants including 82 Queen, and for James Beard-nominated Chef Bob Waggoner at The Charleston Grill. In addition to New South Food Company, Jad also hones his culinary skills at local Atlanta restaurant- Ink and Elm.

This is a twist on a traditional Pimm’s cocktail which is served at The Napoleon House in New Orleans and is a Mardi Gras tradition. Nothing says it’s party time like a big pitcher of sangria stuffed with colorful fruit! This recipe combines the two recipes into one magical drink fit for a Mardi Gras celebration.
