Each year, we’re proud to be a sponsor of the Atlanta Food & Wine Festival in Atlanta, where some of the most celebrated and talented chefs in the country gather to test, taste, and share their incredible creations with festival goers. As a sponsor, we create spaces within the festival for folks to kick back, relax, and socialize in between cooking classes, romps through the tasting tents, and events with their favorite chefs. Like we did last year, we wanted to share those spaces with you here on How to Decorate!
Up on the rooftops of the Loew’s Hotel in Midtown Atlanta, you’ll find an inviting, urban spot to relax while you’re waiting for a cooking class to begin. We love outfitting the Grilling Terrace with some of our favorite outdoor furniture pieces. This space needs to accommodate big crowds, so we created two long banquet tables with four of Suzanne Kasler’s Orleans Table, stacked end to end, and our West Hampton Stackable Teak Chairs.
Across from our dining space are several lounge areas to keep guests comfortable while they’re being served treats from the grill. Our Sutton Sofa is supremely comfortable, so it only seemed natural to use this collection on the Grilling Terrace.
We were inspired by the incredible walls of glass in this space, which constantly reflects the sky, and all of the bright green foliage on the deck. Navy and green accents seemed like the perfect fit!
Outdoor rugs are a great way to create cozy, enclosed spaces, especially on an expansive deck, which is why we used three different large outdoor rugs on this terrace. Our Sicilian Coral Rug has such a fun pattern and worked perfectly with our color scheme.
If you’re signed up to take a cooking class, we’ve created some comfortable seating areas for you to enjoy while you’re waiting in the pre-function area. We used a color palette of navy, coral, and chartreuse in our accents but kept the upholstered pieces in classic neutrals like our Talbot Gray fabric (which is super durable and stain resistant in case you’re eating or drinking!)
A pair of Graham sofas anchors this space. The clean lines of its arms and the super comfortable cushions make this one of our favorite sofas. A pair of handsome Carlton Chairs in Talbot Gray finish off the seating here.
No room is complete without a touch of glamour, which is why we brought in our Elsie Coffee Tables, used side-by-side in this space. The antiqued glass tops means its easy to clean if you spill!
Honestly, this space was so pretty, we wanted to pack it up right there and take it home with us!
Our second seating area brought a little more drama. We used another Graham Sofa, this time in Talbot Gray, with two Viceroy Chairs on each side. One fun way to shake up the look of the space is to use two different fabrics on the chairs. We used our Mila Citron on the two Viceroy Chairs on the left and Queens Velvet Chartreuse for the Viceroy Chairs on the right.
Our Carmel Cocktail Ottoman is the perfect way to complete this seating area, especially when upholstered in Suzanne Kasler’s Indigo Linen fabric.
That wraps up our tour of the gorgeous spaces from the Atlanta Food and Wine Festival. What do you think of these spaces? Would you mind relaxing here?
