August – October 2014 Paint Colors

Kendall Charcoal by Benjamin Moore

Because we shoot in real homes, we are not always at liberty to paint the walls. In those cases, we have chosen paint colors that best match the wall color in the photo. Please be aware that color may vary due to various light conditions, finish and other factors.  Therefore, it’s always a great idea to test a paint sample on your wall first. We use Benjamin Moore paint, but most paint stores can match any color.

Summer is winding down, the kids are readying for the new school year, and we’ve been dreaming of chillier days and cozy nights. With Fall on the brain, you’ll find our catalog pages packed with deeper colors perfectly suited to creating cozy interiors.

Hi. Could you please tell me the wall color behind the Laurent console on page 34 of the Fall 2014 catalog? It’s so beautiful with the wood tone of the furniture. Usually, you use the same wall color across a two-page spread, but the colors on page 34 and 35 appear to be from different color families Thanks for your reply.

Hi. I love the Smoky Mountain color so I painted my dining room this color but now I’m looking for curtains to accent this color. What would you suggest (color and fabric)? Also, what is the color of velvet pillows on the settee that has the Smoky Mountain color shown? Thank you for your help

In the late fall issue, what is the off white wall color on pages 7 and 29? Is it the same paint? Many thanks!

      Hi Traci,
Thanks for your comment. The wall color in that room is Benjamin Moore’s Navajo White #947. As always, we suggest testing every paint color in your space before making your final decision, as colors can look very different from one space to another. Best of Luck!

What is the gray paint color on page 22 and 23 of your September catalogue. One seems lighter than the other.
    Thanks

      Hi Rita,

Thanks for your comment. The color is the same actually in both rooms, Benjamin Moore’s Smoky Mountain (#AC-18). They do look slightly different, but that is usually because of the light conditions in the room! As always, we suggest testing your paint colors with swatches before settling on your final color!
