Ballard Designs was proud to be a part of Country Living’s 2012 House of the Year installation, which was displayed at the World Financial Center in New York City. This year, Country Living put a new twist on their annual event – creating three 250-square-foot micro cottages rather than one large home. The cottages, which were designed by a team of experts, featured a kitchen, a guest room, and an entrepreneur’s studio. The “Room to Spare” project raised more than $5,000 for new programs to support Nontraditional Employment for Women (NEW), a non-profit organization that helps employ women in various construction fields.
